1. When can I expect my magazines to arrive?

Each publisher determines the time it takes to process your subscription and send your first issue. But based on our experience with multiple publishers, you should expect to receive weekly and monthly publications in about 8 to 10 weeks in the US and Canada; quarterly and semi-annual publications may take longer. International delivery may take anywhere from 12-16 weeks; quarterly and semi-annual publications may take longer.

Once we receive your order, it takes one to two weeks for the publisher to process it. Then your subscription enters the publisher's fulfillment system and is processed to begin mailing with the next issue. As a result, 8 to 10 weeks may pass before you receive your first issue. (If you place your order in January, for example, the February issue may have already been sent out or prepared for mailing. So your subscription would then be added to the next mailing cycle; the March issue would be sent out by the publisher in late February or early March, and received by you about one week later.)

2. How do I place a large order for my business/employees/customers?

Whether you're ordering many magazines for one waiting room or dozens of subscriptions to one publication for salespeople around the world, we can help - we're well equipped to handle large and complicated orders.

If all publications are being shipped to one address, you can conveniently place the order on our web site. If you have a list of people to whom you want magazine subscriptions sent, you can email or fax this address list to us, along with instructions (who gets what subscriptions). We will take care of the rest.

3. How do I change a mailing address?

You can change your shipping address by login in to your accout. Once you loged in into your accout click on the link "Shipping Address". Once you on the Shipping Address page select the address that you want to change. Once you update the shipping address all the magazines that are currently being shipped to that address will be shipped to the new address that you provided.

4. Can I renew my existing subscriptions through Acclaim?

Yes. When placing a renewal order, just enter your name and mailing information exactly as they appear on your mailing label. Your information will be matched and your subscription will be renewed. Throughout the year, you can also come back to any order you've placed with us and choose to renew, or even add an ongoing "auto-renewal" to the subscription order.

5. How do gift orders work?

If you'd like to place a gift order, please indicate this by clicking the Gift option in the order process. You may include an optional brief message to the recipient during the checkout. (If you forgot to do this, contact us and we'll take care of it for you.)

The first issue usually arrives within 4-10 weeks, depending on the publication. We do not determine how fast it will be delivered -- processing times vary from publisher to publisher. When you place a gift order, we usually send a gift card to the recipient informing them that they will soon receive a magazine subscription as gift. This card includes the magazine's name, when to expect the first issue, and the gift giver's name and address, along with our customer service contact information.

6. Do you ship to medical institutions, military installations, places of incarceration, etc.?

Yes, we ship orders to all sorts of offices, institutions, prisons and jails in the United States - as long as there's a physical address, and the USPS goes there. (Note, some institutional and prison personnel may inspect packages and envelopes, and refuse certain publications. Acclaim cannot be held responsible for any issues of magazines that are detained.)

To arrange shipping, simply enter all the required shipping information in our order form, including any identification numbers that could help pinpoint delivery.

7. Do you ship outside the US, to Canada and other countries?

Yes, delivery is available worldwide for most publications.

We accept payment by check, credit cards and Bank Transfer for all orders.

8. Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, we gladly accept purchase orders. If your company uses purchase orders or requisitions, place your order via our web site. Click on "Pay by Check" when you are asked to choose payment method. This will create an account in our system and allow you to print an invoice. You may use the invoice as a purchase requisition/order or you can generate your own purchase order. 9. What payment options do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods.

Credit Card, Debit Card or Corporate Purchasing Card
We accept American Express, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. We also accept bank, debit and check cards that carry the Visa or MasterCard logo.

Check or Money Order
If you're paying with a Check or Money Order. Once you complete a checkout process and you select Pay by Check option you will be given an invoice with unique order number. Please send us your check or money order. Please make sure that your name and the order number that you will see on you confirmation page is written on the check.

Purchase Order
If your company uses purchase orders or requisitions, place your order via our web site. Click on "Pay by Check" when you are asked to choose payment method. This will create an account in our system and will allow you to print an invoice. You may use the invoice as a purchase requisition/order. You may also mail your purchase order to the address below or fax your purchase order to 718-646-7773.

Bank Transfer
If you are paying by Bank Transfer, please place your order online and select the "Pay by Check" option. Once your order has been submitted, please contact our customer service for Bank Transfer instructions. Please include your invoice number with your Bank Transfer information so that we can apply your payment to your order.

10. How do I change the delivery address for my magazine subscriptions?

If you purchased your subscriptions through Acclaim, you can change their delivery (shipping) address via our web site. Just log-in to your account using your email and password. (If you have forgotten your password, request a password reminder.) Then go to "Modify Shipping Address" and enter the new address. That's it. Once you update a shipping address, all the magazines that being shipped to that address will be shipped to the new address provided. But please note, it may take 6 to 8 weeks for the change to take effect.

11. Do you process cancellations and refund requests?

Acclaim Subscriptions is bound by the refund policies of publishers of respective publications. Acclaim Subscriptions will offer pro-rated refund for cancellations where available as per publisher policies if canceled within 90 days of order. Customers will be refunded only for unshipped issues upon receipt of the refund from the respective publisher. No refunds will be issued for cancelations made after 90 days from the date of order.

There is a 10% service charge on all cancelled subscriptions.

In no event shall Acclaim Subscriptions be liable for a refund for cancelled or non-delivered copies when the policies of publisher of respective publications do not issue or allow for a refund. Processing and special order fees are non-refundable.

Trade and academic titles are non-refundable once the order is submitted to the publisher. There is a 10% service charge on all cancelled subscriptions.

Claims for non-delivered items must be made within 90 days of order and no later than 120 days of order; refunds will not be processed if Acclaim Subscriptions was not informed of non-delivery within 120 days of order.

Customers will be refunded for orders that have not been processed by the publisher.

12. Missing Issues - Replacement Policy

Claims for missing issues must be submitted within 90 days of publication date. When delivery of issues claimed is traced to the subscriber's address, replacement copies will be send only upon receipt of additional payment at the single issue rate. Publishers retain the right to provide replacement missing copy or to extend the subscription. Claims submitted after 3 months will not be replaced without additional payment.

13. How can I send a gift subscription from one country to another (billing address in one country and shipping address in another)?

1. Open an account with us. Please use your own shipping and billing address to open an account with us. You will be able to add the shipping address to another country in the next step. Depending on your location, you may need to use our

2. Once you created an account, go to the part of our website that corresponds to the Shipping Location where the magazines are to be shipped.

You can choose any magazine you like to send as a gift. You will see gift options during the checkout process. Add the magazines you want to the shopping cart.

During the checkout process, you will be able to choose your BILLING address that you added in Step 1. You will then be able to add a new SHIPPING address in a different country where the subscription is to be shipped.
